Adjectives

Adjectives are words that describe nouns. We have only read to page 29, but we already know a little about Alicia's personality. What adjectives would you use to describe Alicia? Give evidence for your answers.

For example:
Alicia was talented (adjective). She was talented as an artist. We can see her impressive drawings throughout the book. She was also talented as a dancer. She learned the dance steps for the Poms tryouts in only 45 minutes. This short time impressed Erin!

    1. Dear 996631,
Yes, she was friendly. She seemed to make friends easily. We also read that she joked a lot with her friends. However, she was not a "simile" girl! Are you confusing "smiley" with "simile"?

    1. Dear 992151,
You say she was honest--explain how!
You say she was lovely--explain--what do you mean?
Give me an example of how she was witty. (Why do you think she was witty?)
I don't think she was ambivalent. You need to convince me.

  3. So far from the thing we had been reading Alicia its was a remarkable girl. In base that she was talented, honest, happy, and, a dancer makes her a really social girl which mean that she accept anyone who wants to be her friend.I m not impressive that many people were upset after she passed the way. But those are (adjective) that even I going to remember from her. (1004691)
